It is made deliberately to look like a faucet to bring out the creative designs of the inventor. Since iPhones chargers are usually in white, the faucet is colored white in unison with its target products. Although the design is quite crappy, it’s a new concept and to be honest, it’s quite refreshing.
When this charger is plugged into an iPhone, the top of the faucet will turn red. When done charging, it will turn blue. Although it may be a simple concept, but the idea behind this product is far beyond our imagination. The designer of iTap hopes that iTap can create awareness of environment protection. It hopes to remind us that water is scarce in some places on earth and that we should also save electricity.
