ASUS’s IoT division has announced a new range of products from industrial motherboards to edge AI computers. Let’s see what’s the big deal.
For starters, the new IoT industrial motherboards now provide PCIe 5.0 support from the previous PCIe 4.0 to allow more specialized cards and equipment to perform even better (provided that they are PCIe 5.0 compatible as well) and meet the demands of modern applications.
The onboard Intel UHD Graphics can output 8K60FPS HDR or multiple 4K60FPS signals so it will be extra useful for various graphical-based use cases like healthcare, retail, and financial. The boards also contain strong security features including Boot Guard, Platform Trust Technology, AES-NI, and V thanks to close collaboration efforts with Intel to make sure cyber threats are properly guarded against.
Other than that, they are equipped with WiFi 7 support offering up to 5Gbps of blazing-fast wireless connection to deliver super fast response and high volume transmission for anything that requires constant data flow like smart city controls and supply chain management.
As for the Single Board Computers, various form factors are here to serve your needs from ATX and microATX to Mini-ITX and thin Mini-ITX followed by edge AI computer like the PE4000G and PE6000G. They are rocking the latest 14th Gen Intel Core CPUs to offer the latest feature sets and raw performance.
