GIGABYTE has updated its website with the download link of the latest AGESA 1.1.0.0 Beta BIOS that pre-preps support for the upcoming AM5 APU chips.
Expected to be released around the end of January 2024, these new APUs are equipped with RDNA 3-based integrated GPU that theoretically delivers more performance than any offering to date so that those with a low budget can enjoy a bit of gaming without a dedicated graphics card, similar to how they approach their mobile processors for that “jack of all trades” characteristics paired with competitive pricing, but still, don’t expect it to get close to the performance of even the most entry-level dedicated GPU in this day and age.
But for doing so, even the latest motherboards will need a BIOS update to get full compatibility with these upcoming CPUs so in GIGABYTE’s case, the AGESA 1.1.0.0 Beta BIOS can be downloaded for early preview with the official stable release slated for the end of this month.
Users can quickly get their motherboards up to date via Q-Flash or Q-Flash Plus.
