Samsung has revealed it will be broadening its deployment scope of the One UI 8 by opening up beta programs for the Galaxy S24 lineup, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, starting next week in Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India.
By September, the program will reach even more devices, such as the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G, and A54 5G. Users interested in early access can sign up through the Samsung Members app.
One UI 8 brings a smarter, more seamless AI-driven experience through new multimodal capabilities that understand users’ real-time context and allow for more natural, conversational interactions. When paired with Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro, users will also be able to trigger Google’s Gemini assistant by voice or by long-pressing either earbud, further integrating AI into daily tasks.
Tailored for Samsung’s diverse range of device form factors, One UI 8 is built to enhance productivity and deliver proactive, personalized suggestions that adapt to each user’s habits and preferences. The official rollout is expected to begin in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series and continuing sequentially across other eligible models.
Samsung also confirmed that One UI 8 Watch will extend beyond the Galaxy Watch8 series later this year.
