v-color Technology is preparing to roll out its next-generation OC RDIMM DDR5 modules, tuned specifically for the latest AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9000 WX-Series “Shimada Peak” processors.
The updated modules introduce overclocking speeds of up to 8200 MT/s and support capacities ranging from 16GB to 256GB per DIMM, enabling large configurations of up to 2TB in 8-channel systems. By combining high frequency with tighter latencies, the OC RDIMM series moves beyond conventional ECC RDIMM, offering power users greater tuning flexibility and faster response times.
For industries leaning heavily on local AI processing, v-color’s design emphasizes performance under real-world conditions. The modules undergo rigorous thermal and frequency testing and integrate On-Die ECC, custom heatsinks, and compatibility optimizations for workstation motherboards, with validation done for stability in demanding scenarios such as local AI model training, deep learning inference, complex simulations, and VFX rendering pipelines.
Customization remains a focus, with buyers able to choose between RGB-lit variants or industrial finishes without sacrificing reliability, while the strict binning standards ensure consistent performance across all capacities.
The RAM kit is slated for release in Q3 2025 through v-color’s online store, Amazon, Newegg, and authorized distributors, with validation kits and integrator support also on offer.
