According to onleaks’ explanation, Huawei and LG will be working on the new Nexus phones. They will both be partially utilizing a metallic material for the body of the smartphone. Huawei’s and LG’s variant of the Google Nexus smartphone will have a 5.7 inch and 5.2 inch screen size respectively.
Additionally, both smartphones will be equipped with front facing speakers, improving the experience of end users. Both phones will also feature finger recognition technology, as well as the new USB 3.1 Type C interface.
Due to the production limitations from Qualcomm, Huawei’s variant of the new Nexus phone will still be using the Snapdragon 810 CPU instead of the newer Snapdragon 820. It will be equipped with a high definition 2K display screen, 4GB of RAM and users will have a choice of either 32GB or 64Gb of internal storage space. Moreover,it has a 21MP rear camera, 3500mAh battery capacity and Rezence/WiPower wireless charging technology.
On the other hand, LG’s variant of the Nexus will have a 5.2 inch 1080p display, 4GB of RAM and a battery capacity of 2700mAh. It could be using either the new Snapdragon 820 or the Snapdragon 808.
