LG’s range of MyView Smart Monitor recently got a new model and it’s good news for the horizontal gang because it is the 34SR65QC ultrawide display.
This is a 34-inch WQHD curved VA panel offering 99% sRGB color gamut, 100Hz refresh rate, 5ms response time, and HDR10 support so I wouldn’t say this is perfect for top-notch gaming but I guess casuals will still enjoy it while the 100Hz refresh rate will be useful no matter what.
With its 21:9 aspect ratio, the letterboxing-less cinematic viewing experience is pretty much guaranteed. To make that easier to achieve, it actually has LG webOS under the hood to let you access Netflix and YouTube without the need for a PC rig.
If you have something to play with your smart device then the AirPlay 2 and ScreenShare support will help in the best time. There’s a remote if you want to have TV-like access or if you already have an LG Magic Remote somewhere it can connect to that too.
Last but not least, it is part of the LG ThinQ smart home ecosystem so you can expect smartphones, keyboards, and mice to just connect and become usable in a flash.
