Google released their latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating system on November 1st and also launched their latest Nexus 5 smartphone. The previously rumoured Nexus 8 did not appear during the launch event. However, this does not mean that Google will not be releasing the product at all. Recently, a new photo which features the new Nexus 8 tablet device has been spotted on Android’s official website.
Many may have noticed that in Android’s official site under the Apps & Entertainment page, there is a photo of an unknown tablet. Even though there are no details on the image to show the exact model of the tablet device, but according to its dimensions, it could be possible that it is the rumoured Nexus 8 device.
As the 7.9 inch Apple iPad mini has been selling very well, Google decided that they should also come out with an 8 inch tablet device. Thus, leading to the rumours of a new Nexus 8 tablet. This product will probably be manufacturered by LG, with a model number of V510. This also means that it will be similar to LG’s G Pad 8.3.
