In fact, Galaxy S4 sales is lower than what Samsung expected. The sales figures dropped bellow 5 million for August. In June, S4 reached a peak of 7 million units being sold but sales declined after that. Samsung was quick to launch other products to offset the declining S4 sales.
iPhone 5 16GB and 32GB came in 2nd and 3rd respectively, still showing extremely strong signs of consumer interest in Apple products. With 3 phones in the top 10 list, Nokia is still indeed relevant for manufacturing products for the market. In fact, the ranking showed Nokia’s dominance in entry level smartphones.
