Apple will be holding a launch event on the 10th next month and is said to be launching the new iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C and iPad 5. Wall Street Journal reports stated that in order to make iPad lighter in terms of weight, iPad 5 will use the same GF2 touch screen technology as the current iPad mini.
Apple is currently using GG touch screen technology for their current iPad. The new GF2 technology helps in prolonging battery life and is thinner. This reduces the overall weight of the tablet device. Apple iPad 5 will use GF2 touch screens from Nitto Denko Corp.
iPad 5’s new thin bezel design has already seem to be a fact even before its official launch. The whole iPad will look like a enlarged iPad mini. Of course, it should also use the same stereo speakers which are found in the iPad mini.
