The much waited BB10 smartphones are to be launched on the 30th January. However, prior to the launch many employees at RIM has already got their hands on the new device. The L-Series will be the premium series within the whole BB10 launch smartphone lineup. Information about the mainstream and entry series of the phones are still under covers.
However, made known to us is that there will be a total of 6 BlackBerry phones with the launch of BB10 platform. The phones will come in 2 forms, namely a full touch screen version and a QWERTY edition, for 3 market segments – premium, mainstream and entry.
Resolution will first come in 1280 x 768 for the L series full touch device, but will be slowly phased out and be replaced with 1280 x 720 for all the remaining devices. The QWERTY devices will come in 720 x 720 resolution to remain the 720 width.
