According to Technology Site BGR, manufacturers in Taiwan for Google Nexus 7 claimed that shipments for the device are expected to surpass the 1 million mark in December.
Nexus 7’s monthly sales have been steadily increasing since its launch. Sales initially grew from 500-600 thousands, then then eventually reaching 800-900 thousands in November. It is expected that sales for december will reach a million units and aboce.
Taiwan based ODM for Nexus 7 Quantan Computer claims that around 2-3 million units of Nexus 7 has and will be shipped in the 4th Quarter of the year.
Sources also pointed out that the Nexus 7, Kindle Fire and Apple iPad mini will reach its peak sales numbers before Christmas. Foxconn and Pegatron has shipped 1.5million units of iPad mini in november, and is estimating 2million for december.
