Qualcomm has announced the brand new Networking Pro A7 Elite platform to elevate the edge AI market to a new high but not directly from the processing device itself but rather, the networking ecosystem surrounding it.
Edge AI is growing in importance as it enables new possibilities and innovations across various sectors, including networking. This technology allows operators and businesses to implement applications and services in diverse areas such as energy management, automation, and virtual assistants.
Edge AI also enhances privacy by processing sensitive data locally at the gateway, while still providing AI features like personalized data processing with near-instant responses.
The platform boasts 40 TOPS of AI computing power and WiFi 7 support, along with compatibility for 10G Fiber, 5G, Ethernet, RF-Front End modules, and filters, offering a comprehensive solution. Qualcomm has also enhanced its AI Hub to provide software support for partners and developers.
