ASUS showcased its latest innovations at CES 2025, emphasizing advancements in AI-driven technology and sustainability through the new Copilot+ laptop series, which includes an annual refresh plan.
Among the highlights is the Zenbook A14, which stands out as the world’s lightest Copilot+ PC, weighing just 899g. This ultraportable device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor, designed to balance affordability, performance, and battery life. Official benchmarks reveal that it offers up to 45 TOPS of AI performance and boasts a 32-hour battery life supported by a 70WHr capacity.
Its award-winning Ceraluminum chassis provides a durable, scratch- and fingerprint-resistant surface that is both sleek and comfortable to the touch. Preloaded with AI tools such as Live Captions, Generative Fill, and Restyle Image, along with the Windows-exclusive Recall feature currently in preview, the Zenbook A14 caters to productivity needs while incorporating a dual-fan design for efficient cooling and adaptive lock and multi-person detection for enhanced security. Its comprehensive I/O ports and ultraportable build make it a perfect choice for professionals on the move.
Meanwhile, the new Vivobook 14 and Vivobook 16 models, identified as X[A]1407 and X[A]1607, offer flexible configuration options, allowing users to select either the Qualcomm Snapdragon X processor or AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 7 300 series processor to suit their multitasking needs. These laptops deliver up to 19.8 hours of battery life and feature AI-driven enhancements such as an AI Camera with Adaptive Lock, Adaptive Dimming for intelligent brightness adjustment, and a range of productivity tools.
Security is bolstered by Microsoft Pluton-augmented hardware encryption, while connectivity options include USB4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, HDMI, and more. Designed to cater to diverse tastes, the Vivobook 14-inch variant is available in Cool Silver, Quiet Blue, and Platinum Gold.
