AXS Drive simplifies the parking process by linking a driver’s credit card directly to their vehicle’s license plate and In-Vehicle Unit (IU) number. The car park management system could employ advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology or communication with current In-Vehicle Unit (IU) to automatically log entry and exit times, ensuring smooth, automatic fee deductions when the vehicle leaves the car park. This innovation seamlessly integrates with existing Electronic Parking Systems (EPS), allowing for widespread adoption without additional hardware.
Starting strong, AXS Drive is now operational at 12 key car parks, including high-traffic areas such as Downtown East, Far East Plaza, The Heeren, and Wisma Atria. AXS aims to scale this number to 100 car parks by the end of 2024, capturing an estimated 12% market share in the commercial car park segment.
User-Friendly and Convenient
Available for free on both Android and iOS, AXS Drive is designed with user convenience in mind. Drivers simply download the app, input their vehicle details, and link a credit or debit card for hassle-free payments. The app supports multiple vehicles on a single card, making it ideal for families and businesses alike.
AXS Drive goes beyond basic functionality by offering features such as real-time parking space availability, traffic updates via integrated traffic cameras, and the ability to manage motoring service payments like road tax renewals and fines. Users can also keep track of expenses with detailed transaction logs, simplifying reimbursement claims.
To encourage widespread adoption, AXS is launching a referral campaign, offering users a $1 voucher towards their next parking payment for every successful referral. These vouchers are automatically applied to subsequent parking charges, making it even easier to benefit from AXS Drive.
