Intel has released its latest WHQL driver version 31.0.101.4887, and for those who’ve placed their trust in Intel’s Arc GPUs, the update is now available for download.
Right from the start, the $180 Arc A580 GPU from Intel is now benefiting from a “skilled” GPU driver, no longer merely riding shotgun but actually taking control of the wheel.
Games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Beta, Total War: PHAROAH and Lords of the Fallen are all experiencing improved performance across the board. Similarly, when running Starfield, Forza Motorsport, and F1 2023 under DX12, there are significant performance boosts of over 130% in some cases.
Finally, several bugs have been addressed, including Minecraft’s color corruption issue in night scenes when using ray tracing, as well as Starfield, which no longer exhibits corrupted textures on objects and light sources.
