Intel’s announcement at MWC 2025 in Barcelona brings exciting news for business and industrial professionals: the company is expanding its vPro portfolio to include more Core Ultra 200 Series processors.
Previously exclusive to the 200V family of chips, the new additions—Core Ultra 200U, 200H, 200HX, and 200S—will provide a comprehensive lineup and begin entering machines by the end of this month. If you’re looking for Team Blue-powered desktops and laptops with added security, it might be worth holding off for a bit.
For those unfamiliar, the vPro version of Intel processors offers the same performance and efficiency as the standard consumer versions. However, vPro chips are equipped with additional security measures and quality-of-life features, making them ideal for corporate and organizational environments.
In related news, Intel’s vPro Fleet Services will go live soon, likely within the next few weeks, as it is still under final preview.
First introduced at CES 2025, this SaaS program will provide AI-driven security, device management, remote-working tools, and other resources designed to enhance productivity for professionals.
