ASUS and ROG unveiled their new B860 chipset lineup at CES 2025, specifically designed for Intel’s non-K SKUs of the Core Ultra 200S series processors.
This lineup includes popular families like ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, and Prime, each packed with advanced features once reserved for high-end, enthusiast-grade motherboards. These boards support the latest high-bandwidth CUDIMM DDR5 memory kits, offering smooth system performance with AEMP III profiles, as well as PCIe 5.0 for ultra-fast access to the latest graphics cards. For next-gen wireless networking, ROG Strix and TUF Gaming models are equipped with Wi-Fi 7, ensuring faster, more reliable connections over the 6GHz band. The lineup also includes up to four M.2 slots, with one featuring PCIe 5.0 for rapid storage performance.
Additionally, ASUS has revamped its BIOS interface to 1080p resolution, eliminating blurry visuals, while the BIOS Q-Dashboard provides a clear visual layout of the motherboard, simplifying access to key settings.
