ASUS Singapore has announced the launch of the upcoming ZenBeam L2 smart portable LED projector that will make consuming content on the fly much easier and more convenient.
The ZenBeam L2 continues the good tradition of packing everything you need for movies on the go such as including video and audio output powered by a modern OS.
It uses a powerful short-throw lens that can project a 40-inch output with just 1m of distance and go all the way up to 120 inches if you wish. Producing FHD resolution with 120% sRGB color gamut, the output will be colorful, vivid, and properly centered thanks to automatic horizontal + vertical keystone adjustments.
Focusing is also done on the fly dynamically as you move the projector around.
The integrated 10W Harman Kardon should provide decent sound in case you don’t want to bring another set of speakers around while the 65Whr battery can run up to 3 and a half hours which will be enough for most movies.
Powered by Android 12 for TV, it can run Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and other streaming services and video platforms from the get-go. Input-wise, one can use an HDMI cable or USB-A/USB-C mass storage device to stream local files, or wireless via Chromecast.
Lastly, the Light Wall feature has 26 different preset animations to turn your boring wall into something more fun like virtual windows, fireplace, or underwater.
A quick mention about its environmental protective standards achieved via mercury-free eco-LED light source and officially-certified nature-friendly cardboard carton for packaging.
