Sony Singapore has revealed the latest innovative portable sound device HT-AX7 that lets you position speakers anywhere you like.
The package comes in this building-block-like shape where the two nudges on the top are actually speakers which you can just detach easily from the magnetic latch.
The body itself is also part of the system so yeah, 3 speakers in 1.
Armed with Sony’s upmixer algorithm, any sort of stereo input can be transformed into 3D surround sound through real-time analysis of the digital stream plus its surrounding to create a sensible and immersive output.
Couple that with the special 360 Spatial Sound Mapping tech, multiple phantom or virtual speakers seems to envelop you and make everything sound more unique. And remember, all you have to do is to just put the speakers at your desired place and the device will do the rest automatically.
In terms of battery life, one can enjoy up to 30 hours of uptime when connected via Bluetooth and it is nice that the lightweight design further emphasizes on its portability.
The Sony | Home Entertainment Connect app will support your journey of setting up the HT-AX7 plus unlocking more customization and controls to help you fully unleash the speaker’s potential.
Availability
Since the HT-AX7 is currently still preparing for its launch, Sony Singapore is opening up an interest check right now until September 17 where participants will be invited to an exclusive in-store demo witnessing the speaker at work.
After that, retail units will be shipped starting Q4 2023 but the price is still currently unavailable for the moment.
