Sony Singapore has announced it will be bringing in the newly revealed Xperia 1 VII smartphone that continues and enhances the flagship Japanese experience in professional imaging, audio, and display.
This year’s iteration retains the signature Sony look of a tall 21:9 display, flat edges, and a 3.5mm headphone jack – A very “stable” yet premium approach that doesn’t compromise on any usability. Speaking of display, the screen finally goes back to a 4K OLED panel that is “Sony Bravia Certified” which delivers an equally impressive cinematic visual.
As for audio, it runs front-facing stereo speakers with i-Res Audio, LDAC, and Dolby Atmos support while he 3.5mm headphone jack is tuned with Walkman-grade circuitry for uncompromised wired audio playback.
Meanwhile, the camera combines a 48MP Exmor T main sensor plus a set of 12MP ultra-wide + 12MP periscope lens bolstered by Alpha-inspired software features like real-time Eye AF, AI-assisted subject tracking, and auto-framing.
And of course, as a flagship, it has a top-notch SoC powering the entire device and loads of memory on top of microSD support, Android 15 out of the box, and 4-year OS upgrade plus 6-year security patches guaranteed.
