Alienware Singapore has revealed the latest revision of its prebuilt desktop gaming rig, the Aurora R16.
Facilitating everything that made the Aurora R15’s success and improving on other essential stuff, the Aurora R16 combines acoustic, thermal, and form factor into a single package that achieves a nice balance between the three.
First off, the ‘Legend 3’ design language helped the system to achieve lower CPU and GPU temperatures, cutting 10% and 6% respectively when compared to the last gen. Furthermore, the noise level of the entire system is about 20% quieter now which will be great for low-noise premises.
The same factor also contributed to better sizes as the internal volume stays at 25.2L yet the total volume is down 40% – less weight but the same space for you to install your favorite parts.
The iconic Stadium Loop RGB strip is now situated on the left side while the alien logo is on the front side top right corner. Optional choices allow buyers to get a clear side panel for more show-off potential but this doesn’t change the fact of large primary vents provides better airflow no matter what kind of customization one picks.
As for the hardware, you may opt for either an older 12th Gen or the currently latest 13th Gen Intel Core CPU with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series alongside a maximum of 64GB DDR-5200 / 32gB DDR-5600 RAM and up to 8TB SSD storage with everything powered by an up to 1000W 80+ PLATINUM power supply unit.
Need more storage? Get the additional HDD options with up to 1TB for selection.
Each set also comes with genuine Windows 11 Home and a 1-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate code.
Alienware also gave the Command Centre an update which brings it to version 6.0 to accommodate all the RGB tuning and system information monitoring needs.
