This week at IFA, Microsoft will be sharing key advances on Windows Mixed Reality headsets as part of the company’s mission to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more.
Some new updates and enhancements that consumers can immerse themselves in this holiday include:
- Easy setup: The upcoming Windows Mixed Reality headsets will be the first to deliver VR experiences with built-in sensors to track physical position without requiring users to purchase and install external sensors in their rooms.
- Affordable gear: Partners including HP, Lenovo, Dell and Acer will be launching headset and motion controller bundles as low as US$399, and will be compatible with existing and new PC models starting at US$499.
- Range of hardware voices: Consumers will be able to choose the PC that meets their mobility and performance needs– Windows Mixed Reality PCs and Windows Mixed Reality Ultra PCs.
- Immersive experiences: Microsoft is currently working with an incredible set of partners such as 343 Industries, to bring the best immersive experiences to the Windows Store. Additionally, Steam content will also run on Windows Mixed Reality headsets.
