According to sources, it seems that Samsung is still facing some problems with their own Exynos 5420 eight core processor. That is why the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor will be used in the first batches of Galaxy Note 3. However, subsequent batches will have the Exynos 5420 processors. It is said that around 20-30% of Note 3 will be on the Exynos.
Sources also stated that the Exynos 5420 will be better in terms of performance as compared to the current Exynos 5410 found in Galaxy S IV. Exynos 5420 will also run cooler and more efficiently.
Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy Note 3 on September 4th at IFA in Berlin, Germany.
