Sony has yet to reveal any information on the event’s purpose, but there were earlier news that Sony will launch their latest flagship Xperia i1 (Honami) smartphone in Paris. However, the date has passed and we have still yet to see the new smartphone. If what the sources claimed are true, Honami will be revealed on the 4th of September.
Xperia i1 will have a 5-inch full HD resolution display. It will also be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor like many other flagship Android device. It will come with 2GB of in built RAM, a 20 megapixel camera with f/1.6 aperture lens and a 3000mAh battery. Of course, it will be running on the latest Jelly Bean Android 4.2.2 Operating System, with the possibilities of upgrade to 4.3 in the near future.
It is reported that Xperia i1 will be an amalgamation of Sony’s previous technologies such as their Cybershot cameras, Triluminous display and Walkman audio. Sony is essentially in hopes of reminding users of their former glory and trying to restore user’s faith in their current flagship product.
