According to the latest reports, the new smartphone will first be launched on Verizon(US) and will be available in black, white, red and blue. The phone is estimated to cost around 550USD without contract and 200USD with contract. There are no confirmed reports on SRP.
1) A better Super AMOLED touch screen
The Nokia Lumia 928 will use a Samsung manufactured 4.5 inch Super AMOLED touch screen with Gorilla scratch-resistant glass. It may be using a traditional RGB way for arrangement of subpixels and display quality will still be top notch.
2)Thinner body
Lumia 928 will continue to have a polycarbonate body, but compared to the Nokia Lumia 920, it will have a slimmer body and will look narrower and thinner, thus resulting in a weight difference to 920.
3)Higher Battery Capacities
Lumia 920 has a decent battery life, but the 928 will boast a even larger capacity battery for extended usage.
4) Better CPU
Lumia 928 is said to have a faster Snapdragon Pro dual-core processor and a better Adreno 320GPU. This equates to better performance in multimedia and 3D gaming performance.
5) Better Camera
Lumia 928 will be loaded with the newest WP8 GD2 OS. Improvements of the refreshed OS includes clearing of temporary storage. The new OS also improves the performance of the camera and allows user to adjust the colour temperature of the screen. Additionally, the device will also have an improved Xenon flash which is said to fill a substantial depth of environment for a better night photo be taken.
Nokia Lumia 928 will be improved in five aspects, namely screen, camera, battery capacity and processor specifications. However, these are subjected to change as them being rumours. With such good hardware at a reasonable price, the Lumia 928 should be welcomed by consumers.
