In response to previous security vulnerability of iOS 6.1.2 where users need not enter a password to access various phone functionalities, Apple has officially released iOS 6.1.3 to fix this problem. Additionally, the update also fixes and improves the content of Japan maps, including new turn-by-turn navigation functionalities, route planning choices, traffic light indicators etc.
However, most people probably will care more about their current jailbreak on 6.1.2 will be removed. The “perfect” jailbreak from evasi0n will be unbroken and the jailbreak tool will not work on the updated OS. For those who do not bother about the fixes to the bugs and new features as mentioned above can probably hold your updates. Evad3rs team claims that there is still a lot of loopholes in the current iOS and that a new jailbreak will soon be available.
