ASUS’s MATRIX series of graphics cards are those which are cherry picked to do exceptionally well in overclocking. With additional power features found on the card, the card is prepared to be tortured under extremely low temperatures to break world records.
ASUS AMD Radeon HD7970 MATRIX is equipped with a dual fan solution. It is still not available local stores, but enthusiasts can be looking forward to these cards in the coming month.

The HD7970 MATRIX is overclocked to 1100MHz, far beyond any other cards on the market. Buyers can expect performance increase on the MATRIX as compared to other HD7970 out of the box.
However, the MATRIX remains a 3 slot monster. This means that you will require an extra large motherboard and case for a quadfire setup. Good ventilation within the case is also required to ensure that these cards remain cool in multi GPU setups.
The first looks of the graphics card keeps enthusiasts excited with the potential that the card can bring. Modders could have been looking forward to a newer MATRIX design, as this design is almost the same as what was available previously on the GTX580 MATRIX. The beauty of the MATRIX can only be shown if it is placed in a case which the MATRIX logo lighted up. Do look forward for more news from ASUS pertaining to this card.
