Similar to other leading brands, GIGABYTE and its gaming division AORUS are set to launch their Z890 motherboard lineup worldwide, designed to support Intel’s new Core Ultra 200S series desktop processors.
The Z890 series features GIGABYTE’s D5 Bionic Corsa technology, enabling DDR5 memory overclocking to DDR5 XMP 9500 and beyond. This is made possible by AI-enhanced overclocking, driven by four key components that boost performance across software, hardware, and firmware.
AORUS AI SNATCH serves as a 1-click OC wizard, while AI-driven PCB design improves signal quality in addition to Hypertune BIOS leveraging AI to optimize MRC and signal integrity, ensuring top-level performance.
In addition to user-friendly, quick-assembly features like WIFI EZ-Plug and EZ-Debug Zone, along with similar features for PCIe slots and M.2 SSD slots, GIGABYTE has revamped the OC BIOS. It now includes AI PerfDrive, which recommends performance profiles based on real-time system data. The BIOS also features a customizable interface and new additions such as AIO Fan Control for adjusting fan speeds directly from the BIOS. Integration with HWiNFO enhances system monitoring, offering detailed performance metrics without needing extra software.
These premium motherboards boast up to 21 power phases and 110A SPS for powerful energy delivery. GIGABYTE’s exclusive NPU Overdrive increases AI performance by 23%, providing a notable advantage in real-world tasks. The series also includes advanced cooling solutions like the DDR Wind Blade and vented back panels to keep components cool during high-demand workloads.
On top of all this, standard features such as PCIe 5.0 and Thunderbolt 4 are included, but the spotlight is on the AI TOP series, led by the Z890 AORUS XTREME AI TOP.
