GIGABYTE has introduced the M27UP, a 27-inch gaming monitor featuring its proprietary Tactical Dual-Mode, allowing users to switch between 4K resolution at 160Hz and Full HD at 320Hz.
Targeting those who enjoy ultra-high resolution for AAA games as well as competitive online titles, the Tactical Dual-Mode is controlled via the Tactical Switch 2.0 button, enabling quick toggling between full-screen 27-inch output and cropped 24-inch views with 4:3 or 5:4 aspect ratios. This switch doubles the refresh rate, offering a high-precision option for esports and fast-paced gaming scenarios.
The Super Speed IPS panel also offers 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, DisplayHDR 400 certification, and a 1ms GTG response time.
Software-wise, there’s the AI Picture Mode that dynamically adjusts contrast, brightness, and sharpness, with six presets optimized for different use cases, including FPS, MOBA, and RPG. Smart OD technology adapts overdrive settings in real time to minimize motion blur, while full NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatibility allows tearless gameplay without troublesome settings.
Beyond display performance, the M27UP incorporates user-focused features such as a fanless thermal design with a slim metal base, integrated KVM functionality, USB-C charging up to 45W, and dual 5W speakers. These additions position the monitor as a versatile hub for multi-device workflows.
