Logitech Singapore has announced the launch of the new G515 LIGHTSPEED TKL gaming keyboard for those who prefer a lower and compact keyboard in terms of vertical height.
The main contributor of its features comes from 22mm height when laid flat therefore users will not need a wrist rest to operate it. Combined with the low profile doubleshot PBT keycaps, everything is easy to reach and light to type on, not to mention the extra space at the bottom makes the RGB ooze more than your usual standard profile keyboards.
And true to its name, it utilizes the LIGHTSPEED protocol that gives a wireless connection that is on par with wired latency for cableless responsive gameplay while saving up a USB port because in case you don’t know, one LIGHTSPEED USB dongle can pair the keyboard and another LIGHTSPEED mouse at the same time.
Not only that, the G515 wireless version is actually a Tri-Mode board so aside from LIGHTSEED, you can do Bluetooth for quick switching to a tablet or something, or do the standard USB-C. Battery life-wise, it can last up to 36 hours.
In terms of unique gameplay functions, the KEYCONTROL suite is also accessible by this keyboard which can bind up to 15 actions to a single key through different key events. You can even switch between layers and modifiers like G SHIFT for the ultimate macro experience.
A custom keyboard fan? Well, I won’t say that this is geared toward that direction but at least it’s got a set of sound-dampening foam and pre-lubed switches to give you that “thock”. Not sure about the stabilizers though.
Price and Availability
The official SRP of the Logitech G515 LIGHTSPEED TKL Wireless is priced at S$199 in Black and White or if you just want it wired, you can pick it up for S$159 but it is only available in Black.
The purchase link is now live on Logitech’s Shopee and Lazada page.
