Logitech Singapore just dropped its latest headset, the G522, as part of its popular G5 series, and it’s clearly aimed at gamers who want performance and personality in one package.
This new model builds on the fan-favorite G733 but takes things up a notch with a sleeker, more refined look in the form of smoother curves, a more sophisticated shape, and design tweaks that feel modern and polished.
Within the paddings, it is running the new synchronized PRO-G drivers with 48 kHz/24-bit digital signal processing, letting you pick up every tiny sound detail with clarity. The mic’s no slouch either—it’s 48 kHz/16-bit and enhanced with BLUE VO!CE tech, so your voice comes through clean, with real-time filters and effects for a pro-grade sound.
It’s also made to handle all kinds of games, from casual titles to competitive play, and it’s been designed for long sessions with comfort in mind. Logitech redesigned the ear cups to be wider, added extra memory foam, and wrapped them in a softer, more durable fabric. Plus, the suspension band now sits flatter and breathes better, which is ideal for folks who wear glasses or earrings.
Connectivity is flexible as usual with LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C, so you can easily hop between PC, console, and mobile. You also get deep customization via the G HUB and mobile app—from EQ tuning to RGB lighting to saving three onboard profiles.
And sticking to Logitech’s eco goals, the G522 is made with 27% post-consumer recycled plastic and low-carbon aluminum.
