TeamViewer has joined the Apple Vision Pro hype train with the release of the Spatial Support app.
Remote assistance will be even “real” with this piece of technology as the power of the headset translates the power of 3D visualization into a practical solution for the after-sales support, field service, and troubleshooting departments in various businesses.
In the example, one can install the same app on an iPhone which utilizes ARKit and the built-in LiDAR scanner to capture all the details of an object (usually the piece of hardware that went haywire or in unexpected ways). Then, the actual technician/expert can gear up with the Vision Pro and teach the user which part or what action should be taken.
This way, a whole lot of problems can be solved remotely without the need to wait for a technician to show up or have them fiddle with any of the parts.
Availability
Existing users of the TeamViewer software (most likely the Business and Corporate license holders) will be able to integrate the new feature into their daily work starting right now. Any inquiries can be reached via the Apple App Store page.
