Seagate has announced the launch of the brand new Exos X24 hard drive dedicated to enterprise and hyperscale customers.
Taking the seat of the brand’s highest density hard drive to date, the Conventional Magnetic Recording (CMR)-based HDD aims for maximum storage capacity and the best rack-space efficiency through the injected helium approach plus 7200 RPM of spin speed packing up to 285MBps of Sustained Data Rate.
The Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) figure sits at a strong 2.5M hour while the in-house Seagate Secure tech provides Self-Encrypting Drive (SED), SED-FIPS, and Instant Secure Erase (ISE) for absolute data safeguarding and disposal in the future.
Customers will be able to achieve better Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) ratio, industrial-level performance, and sensible operational cost through these new Exos X24 drives starting this December.
Large-volume orders may be inquired about or quoted from the local Seagate sales team.
