Roborock Singapore has unveiled the latest addition to its lineup: the Q8 Max robot vacuum as the second member of the Q family.
The design, if speaking in layman’s terms, comes down to “implementing the dock” directly into the unit which means the dustbin and water tank are both sitting inside the robot. But that also means that you have to clean and refill the tank manually and that’s how the price is so low this time.
But they did optimize the design to help you do just that thanks to the drawer-type container design allowing dustbin clearing and water refilling done in a single opening and closing cycle.
Equipped with dual rubber brushes, the Q8 Max exhibits exceptional dust and dirt collection capabilities while guarding against hair entanglements. Boasting a suction power of 5500Pa, it can handle a diverse range of flooring surfaces.
The Q8 Max benefits from the PreciSense LiDAR Navigation system, ensuring it scans and maps the home optimally while accurately avoiding obstacles along the way during any movement.
The interior layout of the house, as determined by the LiDAR system, is transmitted to the Roborock mobile app offering additional user-customizable preferences like No-Go Zones, Quick Mapping, Multi-Level Mapping, and 3D Mapping.
Moreover, the app has undergone updates, now consolidating Deep Carpet Cleaning, Clean Along Floor Direction, and Smart Suggestion for No-Go Zones. These enhance the overall user experience, transforming it into an intuitive and almost “smart home-like” encounter.
