Zyxel Networks has announced the availability of the new GS1915 series 8-port switch to allow more SMBs to adopt cloud networking and computing without breaking the bank.
Produced in 2 slightly different models of PoE and non-PoE, the GS1915 aims to provide those without experience in operating industrial equipment the ability to operate and power their business via the Nebula cloud management software accessed either from a web browser or the dedicated mobile app. It contains several features that make the management life easier, from connecting new devices to the network, overall monitoring, remote access, client blocking, and more, all within the small digital companion in your palm.
Packed with a total of 8 ethernet ports and a 60W power budget, one can set up multiple access points and cameras with quality-of-life options dedicated to the latter such as remote power cycling to solve buggy cameras. LED indicators on the front panels with intuitive colors will show the status of various connected devices and there’s no need to worry about noise since it doesn’t need a fan to cool it anyway.
Suitable for small private businesses or chain stores operated in small individual premises, the GS1915 is capable of acting as the central hub for other connected equipment such as access points, security firewalls, and 5G/LTE mobile routers.
