Zyxel Networks has released a brand new updated version of the GS-100 series Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) unmanaged mini-sized switches for SOHO environments.
The 5-port and 8-port models provide reliable, high-speed connectivity while maintaining an ultra-compact form factor that fits small spaces and budgets. Its plug-and-play nature means users can easily link essential devices such as IP phones, NAS systems, routers, PCs, and gaming consoles. Front-facing ports and LED indicators simplify device monitoring, while dedicated Quality of Service (QoS) ports prioritize bandwidth for critical applications like VoIP and video conferencing.
It is also capable of running silently which is great for any noise-sensitive rooms while its durable metal housing makes it strong against a wider range of temperatures compared to plastic alternatives. They also support the Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) standard, reducing power consumption during low network activity.
Additionally, they come with a lighter design that is ESG-compliant since it cuts carbon emissions by up to 50.89%, while their packaging is 26.95% smaller, improving shipping efficiency by fitting 50% more units per pallet.
