The
Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE), a national-led private organisation
to help drive entrepreneurship in Singapore, has launched the Digital Transformation
Exchange (DTE) initiative, a series of events to help corporates and SMEs
connect and understand current digital platforms from startups who are at the forefront
of innovation and technology. The initiative was launched today by Guest-of- Honour,
Mr Teo Ser Luck, Minister of State, Ministry of Manpower & Mayor, North East
CDC.

Each
session will have a thematic sectorial focus, covering areas such as Cyber Security,
Data Analytics, and Education Technology. Startups will share about upcoming
trends, opportunities and challenges in their areas of expertise. The inaugural
session, held on 26 April 2017, focused on human resource (HR) technologies and
human capital solutions.

Phan Ching Chong, Executive Director of ACE, said, “This initiative will help
to facilitate knowledge mutually beneficial exchanges between startups and
larger companies. In today’s global and fast-paced marketplace, businesses will
need to continually leverage on upcoming trends and technologies to stay

Teo emphasised the need for businesses to build digital capabilities, “As we prepare
for the future, it is important to harness innovative solutions and make them pervasive
across all sectors. This will not only transform companies, but also strengthen

Transformation Exchange is a platform that can help businesses to do so, and I
am very pleased that ACE has launched this to help champion and support

Talenox, a cloud-based HR management tool, Mimetic, an AI based virtual assistant
for scheduling meetings, Hackertrail, a pre-assessed candidate platform, SalaryBoard,
an online platform for salary review, and Hearti, a benefits and wellness platform
for employees.
