Microsoft Paint has been preinstalled on all Windows OS since Windows 1.0, and is one of the most classic application to date. With Microsoft Paint, users can easily manipulate and create images. Microsoft is currently working on an upgrade to Microsoft Paint, adopting a new Windows 10 style design to modernize its user interface.
The “New Paint” application was seen to be available on Windows Store, but was not made downloadable. It is apparent that Microsoft is working on the new Paint application. Some media agencies did manage to get a working version of the application, and confirmed that the Paint application is due for an update. The New Paint is also a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app, which means that it will also run on the latest Windows Phone devices.
