The newly launched Huawei MediaPad M2 Youth edition comes in 7 and 10.1 inch screen sizes.
Both tablet devices will be equipped with a 1920 x 1200 resolution display, runs on 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa-Core processor (processor model was not made known at the launch event) and holds on to 3GB of RAM.
The 10 inch device is available in black and white, while the 7 inch tablet will be available in blue, white, gold, and rose gold colours. They will support dual-sim and multiple networks in China.
The tablet device also has a microSD card slot that allows storage expansion. Moreover, it features a 4360mAh battery that is said to give users an extended device usage time of 1.8 days per charge. The 7 inch tablet also support fingerprint recognition technology, and the fingerprint sensor appears to be at the side of the device, below the power button.
According to the slides shown at the launch event, the 16GB, 7 inch M2 Youth Edition will be priced starting from 1599RMB. The 10.1 inch WiFi version will start from 1499RMB.
