YouTubers battle it out in international video contest

Eindhoven, the Netherlands, 22 January 2016 – Five well-known YouTube gamers from five different countries battle it out in an online video contest, organized by Startselect.

The participating YouTubers have been revealed today on www.startselectplay.com, where everyone can vote on his or her favourite video for a chance to win a game pc. All these channels have monthly views varying from 500.000 to 13 million.

All videos are themed around video games and the benefits of purchasing them digitally from a legitimate source.

“With these videos we want people to think about how we acquire our games; what is trustworthy and legal? How can I get back to gaming as fast as possible? We too have asked ourselves these questions, and with Startselect, I think we have found the answer. Who, what and where will be revealed later. For now we are looking forward seeing this competition develop. May the best YouTuber win!” says Bas van Meurs, brand manager for Startselect.

The competition runs from the 22nd until the 29th. Then we will announce which YouTuber has accumulated the most votes, and who has won the game pc. On the first of February Startselect will be announced officially.
