Wall Street Journal Launches “Innovasia”
New series to profile Asia’s next generation of influential, up-and-coming entrepreneurs
The Wall Street Journal today announced the launch of “Innovasia,” a new series showcasing entrepreneurs, the development of their companies across Asia and their impact on global business. This new, 12-part series will feature exclusive fortnightly video profiles of and online and print interviews with leading entrepreneurs from a diverse mix of industries including transport, technology, and food services. They’ll share how they built their businesses and lessons learned along the way, speaking to the Journal’s aspirational readership.
“We keep reading about successful entrepreneurs, such as Jack Ma and Tim Cook. Not far behind these prominent figures is a new generation of Asian entrepreneurs innovating and finding solutions to their region’s respective infrastructural and consumer challenges,” said Adam Najberg, Digital Editor.
“Given the Journal’s global coverage of emerging global business trends, companies and figures, we’re excited to tell the stories of the next generation of influential entrepreneurs and how they’ll shape the next wave of breakthroughs in Asia as consumers look for the next big thing.”
ANZ is the advertising sponsor for the project. Over the next six months, “Innovasia” coverage will be available at WSJ.com, innovasia.wsj.com and in print, and will conclude with an event with some of the featured entrepreneurs in Hong Kong.
