‘Normandy’ is the long rumored upcoming release of Nokia Android phone. Especially after Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia, there has been much hype and speculation. Previously, the official launch date has been predicted to be on 25 March this year. Tweets from NextLeaks provided some additional information.
The new phone will be named Nokia Asha 4xx, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, 4″ display (possibly QHD), 5 Megapixel camera and 2000 mAh. It will have a customized Android 4.1.1 Operating System (OS) with Asha Touch User Interface (UI). The expected price will not exceed USD 250.
While the OS will be Android, the exterior will be a hybrid of Lumia and Asha, with 6 colors, a signature of Nokia phones. Instead of possessing Google service, Asha 4xx will own Skype, Here maps and other services.
