According to ZDNet Korea website, Samsung will be introducing the next smartphone with novel technology in 2014. The new flagship phone would possess Iris recognition, High Definition display and fingerprint sensor.
In theory, the ocular sensor will only have to scan the iris to unlock the system. The fingerprint technology would be similar to the one adopted by Apple’s iPhone 5S. According to ZDNet, Samsung would be using Quad HD (QHD) technology, with the display resolution up to 1440 x 2560, exceeding the current display quality of Ultra HD (UHD) displays.
Samsung might be unveiling its new model of smartphone at the Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona in February next year.
