So, Samsung just unveiled its latest 2025 lineup of TVs and soundbars in Singapore, and they’ve taken a major leap forward by putting AI at the heart of it all.
Their big reveal at the “Unbox & Discover” event included upgraded Neo QLED 8K and 4K models, enhanced OLEDs, a premium version of The Frame, and a new batch of soundbars – all powered by something called “Samsung Vision AI.” Basically, this is Samsung’s way of making your TV feel less like a screen and more like a smart companion that knows your habits, responds to gestures, and even helps with things like home energy tracking or checking on your pets when you’re not home.
Vision AI is built into this year’s flagship TVs and helps them recognize surroundings, personalize your viewing experience, and integrate more deeply with Samsung’s SmartThings ecosystem. That means features like SmartThings Energy to monitor power usage, Family Care to dim lights if your kid falls asleep, and even a Pet Care feature that detects barking and plays content for your furry friend. There’s also Generative Wallpaper to turn the TV into personalized wall art, and gesture controls via Galaxy Watch.
The software running all of this is One UI Tizen, bringing the same intuitive look as Samsung’s phones and watches. With this update, everyone in your household can have separate profiles and recommendations. On top of that, Samsung is committing to 7 years of OS updates and at least 3 years of security support via Samsung Knox, which shields your data and smart home connections from cyber threats.
Now let’s talk about the TVs themselves. The star of the show is the Neo QLED 8K QN990F, Samsung’s most advanced TV ever, equipped with the new NQ8 AI Gen3 Pro processor. It’s designed to upscale content to near-8K quality, smooth out fast-moving scenes, and even direct sound to match the action on screen using Object Tracking Sound Pro.
The built-in Dolby Atmos top speakers and glare-free display tech make it ideal whether you’re watching in daylight or a dark room. It also comes with a Wireless One Connect Box so you can ditch cable clutter.
Next up is the Neo QLED 4K lineup, including models like the QN90F, which features the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor. You get 4K AI upscaling, super bright visuals, and smooth motion (up to 165Hz) that’s especially handy for sports and gaming.
For OLED fans, the S95F series brings Samsung’s brightest-ever OLED panel with glare-free technology, OLED HDR Pro, and super-accurate Pantone-validated colors. It’s powered by the same NQ4 Gen3 chip and includes features aimed at gamers too.
Meanwhile, The Frame Pro brings art lovers a premium option. It’s now upgraded with Neo QLED picture quality for brighter, sharper art and content, and supports the Wireless One Connect Box too. As always, it blends into your décor and links with Samsung’s Art Store, which is now accessible across more 2025 TV models including Neo QLED and MICRO LED.
On the audio side, Samsung introduced two key soundbars. The HW-Q990F is the top-tier model, with dual active subwoofers packed into a compact cube design. It uses AI to fine-tune bass, detect speaker positions, and clarify voices using Active Voice Amplifier Pro.
The HW-QS700F offers flexibility with a gyro sensor that adjusts sound based on how and where it’s placed – wall-mounted or table-top.
