In lieu of the upcoming EC3 Evernote Conference end of the month, Evernote is proud to present a whole line of updates, including the new and improved Evernote 5 for Windows Desktop and Evernote Webclipper 6 for Chrome. With these new updates, Evernote not only wants to bring an enhanced design experience to its users, but also make gathering and accessing your information intuitive and simple, letting you get your work done in a better way.
Evernote 5 for Windows Desktop looks sleeker, cleaner, and is easier to use than before.
Evernote 5 for Windows has gone through a thorough redesign, with a total of 100 improvements and changes. It strips down to provide intuitive and simple user interfaces, allowing for fewer distractions and easier browsing and note-creation. Your data becomes easier to get to, and the hassle of digging for information is removed to provide greater focus on the task at hand.
Evernote Windows users are now also able to create reminders on each note, simply by clicking the ‘alarm clock’ icon. Each notebook will automatically generate a to-do list of reminders that you can check off once each task is completed.
Set reminders to keep yourself on schedule, and see them listed in a to do list to facilitate task management personally and in a team.
Evernote Webclipper 6 for Chrome, the tool that allows you to capture information from any webpage from a Google Chrome browser, is now more efficient and intuitive than before. The panel elegantly slides out from the right, allowing you to clip information and inspiration at a click of a button.
Webclipper 6 has incorporated two main tools: Skitch, the popular annotation tool that lets you highlight a section in an article or write notes in the margins to enrich your personal productivity or communicate effectively to your project team; and Clearly, which allows you to remove all unnecessary elements from an article, making for a better reading experience and professional sharing opportunities.
Evernote Webclipper 6 now has a side-panel that slides out to give you access to all the tools you could need.
