Loophole users beware, your Windows Activation exploit will soon be brought to an end.
Following Windows Central‘s report based on Microsoft’s own official statement, the activation of Windows 10 via Windows 7 key through a series of processes was legit back then to help users transition to the newer OS especially those who just paid full price (and maybe not, you know who you are) for an unsealed copy of the legacy platform.
But as Windows 8 is free to upgrade to Windows 10 which is also free to move towards Windows 11, one can say that jumping from “seven to eleven” seems like a deal that is way too good and for way too long.
Therefore, the org is killing the entire perk beginning next year’s update that is currently being tested in the latest Canary build.
So, if you want to move to Windows 11 (the genuine way, that is), then be fast.
