Microsoft denies budget Xbox One which is supposed to come next year

According to foreign media reports, Microsoft is planning to launch a lite version of Xbox One which will be priced at 400USD or less. The budget Xbox one will probably reach markets in summer next year. However, Microsoft has denied these claims and said that they do not have any budget Xbox One plans in the near future. They believe that the current Xbox One plus Kinect One bundle priced at 499USD is already providing a good value for money.

Earlier reports said that the gamers on the market can look out for two lite versions of Xbox One with lesser features. These two versions will both come without Kinect One motion sensor. The only difference in the two lite versions are differences in hard drive capacities. They are said to be launched in summer next year, but there are no words on the specific pricings. However, they should not exceed 400USD as to compete with PS4.

Microsoft has previously said that other than new speech recognition and somatosensory features, their new generation of consoles will require the new Kinect. This means that many features on Xbox One can only be achieved on the new Kinect and that without Kinect One, gamers will not get the full experience.
