BIOSTAR has recently launched the new EdgeComp MU-N150, a compact industrial PC aimed at automation, edge computing, HMI, and digital signage deployments. The system is designed for integrators and engineers who need reliable, low-maintenance hardware with strong performance in space-constrained environments.
The MU-N150 is powered by Intel’s Twin Lake N150 processor, offering quad-core performance up to 3.6GHz while maintaining a 6W TDP for fanless, energy-efficient operation. It supports up to 16GB of DDR5 4800MHz SO-DIMM memory and enables triple 4K output through HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C, making it suitable for multi-display setups such as kiosks, control panels, or signage systems.
Connectivity includes dual Intel 2.5GbE LAN ports, an M.2 Key-M slot for NVMe storage, and an M.2 Key-E slot for optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. Built with a ventless, fanless chassis, the unit is engineered for 24/7 operation, with dust resistance, silent performance, and a rugged 0.6L form factor. It also supports wide-range DC input (12–19V), has been tested to withstand shock and vibration under IEC-60068 standards, and operates in temperatures between 0°C and 50°C.
For deployment flexibility, the MU-N150 is compatible with Windows 11 64-bit and Ubuntu Linux, offering broad software support across industrial and commercial environments. Certified for CE, FCC, UKCA, and BSMI, it is created as a versatile solution for integrators, automation systems, and signage operators that demand efficiency, durability, and global compliance.
