Super Flower has introduced a new ATX 3.1 power supply unit (PSU) to the global market, named the Combat FG ATX 3.1, expanding their portfolio alongside the existing Leadex III ATX 3.1.
This model features HCS terminals and dual 8-pin connectors on its modular panel while showcasing thoughtful design elements like positioning the 12+4 pin connectors on the GPU side to minimize the risk of sharp cable bends (a nod to the infamous 12VHPWR).
It supports up to 200% power excursions and integrates energy-saving technologies that comply with Energy Star and EuP (Energy Using Products) standards, along with multiple safety certifications such as IEC/EN 62368 and ALPM mode.
Inside the unit, a 120mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing (F.D.B.) fan with a specialized blade design optimizes airflow and minimizes noise. For added efficiency, it supports precise RPM control and enhances durability with a copper shaft around the bearing, which resists high temperatures during operation.
In terms of cable management, the PSU is fully modular, allowing you to only use the necessary cables for your build, and the ribbon-style cables offer great flexibility. It also boasts 80 PLUS Gold certification, delivering 87% efficiency at 20% load, 90% efficiency at 50% load, and 87% efficiency at full load.
As expected, it includes a full suite of protection mechanisms such as Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Over Current Protection (OCP), Over Power Protection (OPP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), and Over Temperature Protection (OTP).
